How to change a drum brake pads for toyota corolla?

First, for a drum brake, it calls a brake shoe, not pad. Pads are for disc brake. To change the brake shoes, you need to remove the brake drum (after removing the wheel/tire of course and the car is on a jack stand) by tapping the drum with a hammer if it's stuck. Once the drum is removed, you can see all of the components that make up the brake assembly. Now if you have never done this before, I recommend you to take a digital photo of the assembly for later reference just in case you don't remember which component goes to where. First thing you need to remove is the long spring hooked to the brake shoes, once you remove the spring, you can pretty much easily remove the shoes by studying the assembly. Putting it back just a reverse procedure. But remembering which component goes to where is important and this is where your digital photo that you took earlier will help. How to change a drum brake pads for toyota corolla?
the proper way is to screw two bolts in to the two holes in the drum and slowly tighten evenly on both bolts you can get those from the parts store when you get your brake shoes just ask for the drum removel bolts..
