How do I change brakes on...?

I have a 2000 nissan altima and i need to change the brakes now i know how to change them on the front but the back i have a drum soo how do i change the brakes in the backHow do I change brakes on...?
you need a big azz wrench like 1%26quot;and a half socket and a chisel some high temp grease brake cleaner I used vise grip pliers and needle nose pliers and get repair manual like haynesHow do I change brakes on...?
Get yourself a manual specific to the car. It will show you how, step by step. Definitely worth the investment. I have one for every one of my 3 classic hobby cars. How do I change brakes on...?
jack up the car and put jack stands under it( don't work on it with just the jack) remove the rear tires, take off the drums, then remove the brake shoes on one side only first( so you have the other side to see how it goes back together) you have 2 pins that hold the brake assembly onto the brake backing plate, remove these pins, they have springs on the pins, there is a tool for this, then take the complete assembly off, remove all the springs and brake adjuster and set it up with the new shoes, it can be a little difficult for you if you have never done this, it takes a special tool for the springs that hold the shoes and adjuster together, it is best to get new ( brake hardware kits too-thats the new springs and pins etc. it only costs about 15 bucks for a manual at autozone , i would get one, if the drums are stuck it might need some persuation with a hammer, wear eye protective glasses, also after you get the brake assemble off the backing plate apply some anti seize lube to the places on the backing plate where the brake shoes rub against it, after you get it all back together and the drums put back on adjust the brakes so they have a little drag,
